The BrainTIFF ProjectSt. Michaels's hospital, The Laboratory for Collaborative Diagnostics and gDial Inc. have started a project to image brain slices. The images and all the accompanying meta-data will be captured in the open source biotiff image format which can be downloaded from here. Live Malaria Parasites via Access GridDr. Ian Crandall and Dr. West Suhanic of the LCD did a live malaria parasite presentation via the Access Grid on Thursday, Oct.28, 2010 starting at 1:00PM EDT. Mis-labeled, mis-identified or counterfeit anti-malarials? A new journal articleDrs. Pennefather, Crandall and Suhanic have published an article on counterfeit anti-malarials in the Malaria Journal. The article's title is "Pill characterization data streams for reducing exposure to inadequately identified anti-malarial medication in developing countries".
